In sparring, students train to do a variety of techniques such as jab punches, fakes, round house kicks, spinning kicks and then get a chance to practice these learned techniques for tournaments in a controlled match with fellow students. All sparring practice matches take place on a matted floor. All students are required to wear proper gear which includes head gear, chest protector, gloves, shin guards, foot pads, mouth guard and cup (boys).
ALL matches are carefully watched over by Sensei Ed himself.
Sparring is on Tuesday from 6:00 to 7: 15 PM and Saturday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 am
